Drury Inn & Suites Memphis Southaven

Jay in breakfast was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Really Enjoyed Tinky. Front desk, house keepers, staff were very friendly. Jackie, Danelle, Beverly, Kimmy, My vehicle was covered with snow and ice, and was snowed in. A nice gentleman got the snow and ice off my windshields so I could see and shelved snow and ice from behind my vehicle. I was totally overwhelmed that someone would do that. I’m so appreciative and grateful. Didn’t know it was The General Manager. Chad U.

We needed to get away for the weekend but close to his Barber, never miss a 10:30am, Saturday appointment. I found this location because of the indoor pool and hot tub. And we picked the perfect spot! Less than 5 minutes away from his appointment. But immediately when we checked in we were more than impressed with the joyful and energetic front desk clerk Alexandria her personality was amazing. I noticed that all of the staff was the exact same way, everyone took their time to speak But the peace and quiet of our suite was just what I needed to relax. Our suite was spacious and clean The best part and our favorite part was the free, everything you could think of Breakfast and the KICKBACK every night!!! Very delicious and satisfying!! We will be back!!!

Hands down, the BEST hotel staff I've ever encountered, and I stay at hotels at least 1-2 weekends a month. During a hellish storm with the hotel booked solid, the staff having to stay at the hotel to take care of everyone, and not knowing what's happening at their own homes, they all are still smiling and going above and beyond. Tamika especially is truly wonderful and made my horrible day better. They all deserve a raise or at very least a bonus for all they are dealing with. The hotel itself is clean and well kept. It has comfortable beds, awesome hot tub, and indoor/outdoor pool.

The location is great. The staff was super friendly. But I don't expect any less because, after all, they are Mississippians and people from Mississippi are friendly. The rooms were clean. I always clean my hotel room before I get comfortable. I must say there was no dirt found, even on the bathroom floor. This place was about as clean as Japan. The only dirt I found was on the fridge when I pulled it out because it wasn't cooling (room 321). The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was abundant but I didn't get any because they were always full and I don't like crowds.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were clean, and the pool and hot tub were fun for our kids. Having a large family, we especially appreciated the 5:30 Kickback and the hot breakfast. We want to give a special shout out to Tinky, one of the breakfast employees. She was efficient and so kind. We saw her help out a single mom by sitting with the kids so the mom could get herself food. She was polite and had a pleasant conversation with our kids. She went above and beyond her duties. Give Tinky a Christmas bonus!!!

The place is clean and very well located, which made our stay comfortable from the very beginning. The breakfast and brunch are excellent, offering great quality and variety. The pool was spotless, and everything is offered at a very reasonable price. What truly stands out, however, is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They made us feel welcome at all times. We’re leaving Memphis delighted by its people, and the team at this hotel was definitely a key part of that experience.

If you've never been to a Drury before, I highly recommend that you do! Drury employees are always so so attentive to your needs. It comes with a big smile a gracious thank you and your welcome. I want to give a special thank you to Tinkey! She made the best meatballs, gravy and mashed potatoes last night. I ate too much and they had to roll me out of there. It was so good! Then this morning Gary gets a compliment for the oatmeal that was made correctly! It was super good too! All in all nice place, very clean and very friendly. 10 out of 10!

I recently hosted my daughter Lela’s 8th birthday sleepover at the Drury Inn in Southaven, MS, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. From check-in to checkout, the service exceeded every expectation. The complimentary evening dinner was absolutely amazing ..chicken alfredo, baked potatoes, salad, and more. I truly was not expecting that level of quality and hospitality. The amenities were over the top, and everything felt welcoming and well-organized for our group of six excited little girls. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was one special staff member… Miss Tinky, the morning lobby attendant. That morning, the girls and I went down to breakfast in our matching “Game On Squad” sleepover outfits … slippers, socks, leggings, and oversized shirts. In the most polite and playful way, Miss Tinky let us know we needed to go grab our shoes. She handled it with such humor and warmth that even though the girls were initially disappointed, I completely understood and appreciated the safety behind the rule. When we came back downstairs with shoes on, she remembered us and jokingly insisted she wanted to be part of Lela’s “squad.” She told the girls she would even pay $100 to join their team! Her energy, personality, and genuine care completely won them over. Within minutes, the same girls who said she couldn’t join were welcoming her in. She was lively, personable, funny, and so relatable. You could tell she genuinely enjoys people and takes pride in making guests feel special. She didn’t just do her job — she elevated the entire experience for me and my daughter. Thank you, Drury Inn, for creating such a memorable birthday celebration. And a special thank you to Miss Tinky for going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We will absolutely be back!
